A truly beautiful and peaceful cemetery. I have multiple family members and friends buried here. The grounds are incredibly maintained and well laid out. The memorials area is a perfect centerpiece for the entire place. Even if you don't know someone buried here, it is worth driving through the grounds and viewing the monuments honoring so many of our nation's heroes.
Beautiful Service. Gorgeous resting place for loved ones. Christmas time is a must visit.
My grandfather and now my grandmother are buried here. The cemetery is beyond beautiful and so well kept. The surrounding woods and water bring such peace, I know my grandparents would love it. I’m so glad this cemetery is here to honor those who have fought for our country. Thank you to all who take care of this place and run it!
I wish I would never post about this cemetery but I am here as my beloved husband is resting hete now. It is so beautiful, peaceful and well orginized and maintained place. People who work here are amazing too: patient, professional, helpful. He is the right place now with his brothers in arms. And I know that it is safe and clean here. Also its so great that military airport is cross the lake - he was a pilot so I am sure he is smiling now in the place where he is. Rest in peace, my dearest man!
The grounds here are clean and orderly. Military funeral services are well organized, taking unnecessary stress off of the families. Thank you for your efforts.
Beautiful place. Bery well kept and helpful staff. For all our Veterans and what they did for the USA, Did you know you as a Vet your service at the National Cemetery is only 30 minutes....that's it.....so sad. And they will not allow it to go over that 30 min. I feel like all the Veterans of this world should have way mote time that JUST 30 minutes.
We head out to DFW National cemetery multiple times per year to pay our respects to those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedoms.
The grounds are kept beautiful. Kudos to the cemetery Director for maintaining high standards for those in eternal rest.
The walkways are smooth/wide enough for multiple patrons and the water feature is serene to allow for reflection. We spend hours here wandering the grounds, reviewing the many memorial stones and plaques.
We came up this year for the annual Memorial Day program. The band was great, the speakers excellent, and the program was well run. Flags adorned the area and there was plenty of shade for us to pop open our lawn chairs and enjoy the program.
This was the first year we took the provided bus from the church parking lot and back. This option was super convenient and we avoided all of the car traffic. Definitely the way to go!
My Dad is buried there. Always clean and peaceful. Today is Wreaths Across America Day. Heavy traffic, very respectful and well organized.
